Our Technology

The Korcett solution set is comprised of three basic elements:

1. a network appliance called the "Korcett,"
2. the Korcett Management Console (KMC), and
3. a series of web-based service management portals.

The Korcett, originally designed as a bandwidth shaping and management system, is basically the traffic cop. It watches all the traffic to and from the premise network. It is on duty 24 x 7 and governs traffic based upon a set of traffic regulations issued and periodically updated by the Korcett Management Console (KMC). The KMC gets its "service parameters" from the service provider and are typically tailored to meet the needs of a specific property.

KMC Management Portals are specially designed Internet-based management systems that allow various individuals to manage and make adjustments to communication services. Residents, property managers and ISP personnel can use these portals to make real-time adjustments to any service managed by a Korcett.
